Thank you so much Meg – the most special hotel I’ve ever stayed in is coming up in a few weeks 🙂

I can already see in your first post that you guys had an amazing time in Phuket – those views from the pool are lovely … and with a cocktail in hand just perfect!

Yes it really bothers me – is my family less because my womb doesn’t work? And is your family less because you’ve made a choice? No, of course not!! I agree about the pools here, it was all a bit odd so we just mainly used our private one rather than bothering to try. And thank you – you just wait for the next one coming up 🙂 Have a great weekend, and thanks for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts.

It was really lovely to have the private pool, and a lovely peaceful spot in Phuket. Thailand is such a beautiful country 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend Aiva xx

Shouldn’t parents/adult family members be allowed to be with their kids while swimming? You know, with the risk of drowning and all? I’m guessing they have lifeguards, but it still seems strange to me.Gorgeous hotel – you always pick good ones!]]>Language matters. I’m with you. While I come at it from a different perspective (childfree by choice), I, too, chafe at the use of “family” to only mean adults with children. When people ask if I have a family, I always say “yes.” (Sometimes if they ask if I have kids, I say, “Yes, but they’re deformed. They have 4 legs and these weird protrusions coming out of their backsides.”) 😉

I just love how your room has a private terrace and a swimming pool from which to take in those sea and mountain views. As I haven’t made it to Thailand yet, I very much look forward to your posts. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx
