Did you know Australian construction workers are 6 times more likely to die from suicide than as a result of a work-related incident?

June 23, 2016 saw RMIT School of PCPM’s Matthew Francis lead Property Council of Australia public forum debate on the often elusive topic of Wellness.  Topics included in the well attended half-day seminar were with workplace wellness both in the construction sector as well as long-term office occupant well-being. Dist. Prof. Helen Lingard presented her research on the health and wellbeing of construction workers to industry’s leading companies, investment and peak bodies with great feedback received.

Also covered were issues on the use of wearables in the workplace (e.g. fitness monitors, fitbits, apple watch, etc) and the current and future concerns on the use of employee data by employers.
