On Friday 24th May, RMIT School of Property, Construction and Project Management had the pleasure to host another insightful guest lecture by Ashley Wright, Director at Hanwha Defence Australia in the ‘Managing Complex Projects’.
Ash’s guest lecture topic was: “Managing Complexity: Analysis of a Successful Failure”. He was generous, passionate and enthusiastic to share his invaluable knowledge, experience and insights of managing large and complex defence projects out of his over 20 years work experience in this industry.
Learning from your failures can yield valuable lessons and grow you more as a Project Manager than leveraging your successes.
Students and staff particularly enjoyed learning from Ash on how he embedded the main characters of Game of Thrones in the narrative of his talk.
