Industry Lunch time Interactive Events – AMA (ask me anything): Jobs on Campus and Jey Ramathasan

On 19 April 2016 RMIT Property, Construction and Project Managment’s Employer of Choice Program held their first “AMA” (Ask Me Anything) session with RMIT Property Services employee and Construction Management Graduate Jey Ramathasan and Jobs on Campus. “I am a construction management graduate working at RMIT – ask me anything”

This is the first in this series of presentations based on the popular Reddit AMA (ask me anything). The presentation was a flexible interactive session so drop in when students were free between classes Property, Construction and Project Management Employer of Choice Events and listen or participate. Audience participation was encouraged but not required. Questions were facilitated by Anna Bishop from RMIT’s Jobs on Campus and covered a range of topics from his experience in our course to job applications, and his experience now working at RMIT in the Property Services division. The idea behind the event was to assist students in gaining  insights into getting their first job or their next career move from a recent alumni of our programs.

Jobs on Campus, RMIT Mentoring and the Future Edge team also presented on how students could obtain work on campus working for RMIT – how they could get an industry mentor and what Future Edge is and how they could get involved.
