RMIT’s School of Property, Construction and Project Management held an event in 2016 for the first time entitled “Women Building Futures: Careers in Property, Construction and Project Management” on International Women’s Day 8 March 2016 to celebrate Women in our industries and encourage more female students to get involved and consider a career in Property, Valuation, Construction Management, Project Management and/or Sustainable Building
We would like to invite you, your staff, careers advisors and students to celebrate International Women’s Day with us in 2017. We are sending this Save the Date out early in order to ensure those who are interested have time to add it to their event calendars during planning for the year ahead.
There is no charge associated with attending the event. We simply ask for RSVPs in order to ensure we are able to cater for all. For 2017 we were able to secure an inside venue so the heat will not effect our attendees.

RMIT School of Property, Construction and Project Management will be hosting a new event to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 2017. More information on the event will be provided in the new year but we ask all students, staff, alumni and industry partners to save the date. The event will be held between 12pm and 2pm located at the RMIT City Campus Storey Hall entrance from Swanston Street.
Who: Current RMIT students studying programs from the School of Property, Construction and Project Management; Industry Partners; Professional Industry Bodies; RMIT Property, Construction and Project Management Staff and guests from Victorian High Schools.

When: International Women’s Day – Wednesday 8 March 2017, 12pm – 2pm
Why: To celebrate Women in Property, Construction and Project Management careers. To educate and facilitate discussion on what these fields involve and how women can build a career in what has historically been a male-dominated industry. To encourage more females to take up study and work in these industries and to celebrate those who have and their success.
