CM students makes it to the 2018 CIOB Global Student Challenge Finals

Congratulations to our Construction Management students Yuhan Su, Phillip Stojakovic, Sze Chern Ng, Zihao Wang on making it to the finals of the CIOB Global Student Challenge!

CIOB Global Student Challenge is a highly recognised annual international competition organised by the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB) for undergraduate construction management students (Link: https://gsc.ciob.org/). This competition involved students to run their own virtual construction company that lasts for half a year. During that period of time students were coached to make weekly decisions on construction project planning, staff allocation, estimating and tendering, cash flow, investments as well as innovations.

This year more than 60 teams from universities in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Oceania joined this competition. RMIT sent two teams to join this year’s competition, one team becomes the Top 6 of the Preliminary rounds and will represent RMIT to compete in the Finals that will be held Toronto, Canada in 8-12July 2018
