Development Victoria Presentation

Development Victoria spoke with a packed Applied Valuation class on 9 August 2017 in RMIT’s Building 8 level 11 Lecture Room about the newly formed body and its internship program.

Development Victoria is a new organisation that combines the expertise and capabilities of Places Victoria and Major Projects Victoria to create and deliver economic and social value to Victoria. Development Victoria formally began operating from 1 April 2017 and is registered as a PCPM Employer of Choice.

The Internship Program is aimed at students completing their final year of study in 2018 in property, development, planning, construction or project management fields (both under and post-grad students are eligible). RMIT student and current Development Victoria Development Coordinator, Dean Johnson (pictured above) was on hand to provide insights to the organisation and the benefits of the internship program.

Thank you to Ashley Brundell and Dean for taking the time to present to our students the role Development Victoria plays in delivering property and precinct development projects to meet government’s policy objectives. Applications for the Internship Program are now open until 11 September 2017. Check CareerHub to apply.
