Introducing our new staff – Kwabena Mintah

Mintah is a newly appointed Lecturer in Property Valuation within the School of Property, Construction and Project Management of RMIT University. He has experience in both residential and commercial property valuation from Ghana and is registered with the Australian Property Institute.

Over the last three years, Mintah has been a sessional staff member at RMIT University assisting senior colleagues in courses including Investment Valuation, Applied Valuation, Property and Capital Markets and Valuation Process and Methods.

Currently, Mintah is working towards completing his PhD thesis which focuses on Real Options Valuation application to residential property developments in Australia. He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Economics from Aalto University in Finland and a Bachelor’s degree in Land Economy from KNUST, Ghana. His research interests are mainly in property valuation, property development, risks and uncertainties in property development, flexibility in buildings and real options valuation.
