Project Management is now part of ANZAM

The first Project Organising Special Interest Group at ANZAM (Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management) was held at QUT in December 2016. Over 30 project management academics came from across Australia and New Zealand with several also travelling from Europe, Scandinavia, Britain and Asia to attend and present papers. PCPM was represented and Derek Walker and Beverley Lloyd-Walker were delighted to receive the PMI Best Paper Award for the project organising track. Prof. Jonas Söderlund presented the award on behalf of the Project Management Institute. ANZAM is coming to RMIT in December 2017 so the new SIG will provide the opportunity for PCPM staff and doctoral students to submit papers and participate in this vibrant group. Hopefully the School will gain another best paper award this year.
